Ribes of LOVE: A Dream of Fashion and Beauty
Hello everyone! I'm Sara Bertelloni , the founder of Ribes of LOVE , and I'm thrilled to share my journey into the world of fashion and craftsmanship with you. My story begins at the University of Genoa, where I earned a bachelor's degree in architectural techniques. But, alongside my academic education, I've always had a deep love for fashion, a love that manifested itself from a young age.
From Dreams to Reality: The Origins of Ribes of LOVE
I remember when, instead of hanging posters of my favorite singers in my bedroom, I'd decorate the walls with the best high-fashion ads. This passion drove me to found Ribes of LOVE with my roommate during my university years. Initially, it was just a fashion blog, but my ambition and desire to share the beauty of fashion led me to take it a step further, despite my academic commitments.
The real adventure began when I started attending craft markets, selling costume jewelry. It was a way to immerse myself in the world of fashion and design, until I opened my own VAT number. My first market, way back in 2015, was held in Forte dei Marmi , where I admired the most beautiful stalls representing true Made in Italy and Tuscan craftsmanship.
One Step Forward: The First Store
In 2026, I took another important step: I opened my first permanent store, in the family shop, which is still located at Via San Pietro 10, Massa . This has become my home, a place where my passion for fashion is expressed through quality products and an unmistakable style.
My Philosophy: Beauty and Sustainability
I've always been in love with beautiful things and natural fabrics. I had the privilege of working in a swimwear boutique in Forte dei Marmi, where I honed my knowledge of beachwear and learned to recognize the importance of well-made garments. I'm firmly opposed to the use of polyester and synthetic fabrics, as well as poorly cut and poorly fitting garments. I believe every piece of fashion should be an expression of quality and love for the materials.
To improve my skills, I studied privately at my city's fashion school, but my curiosity and passion drive me every day to explore new techniques and fabrics to include in my collection. Every day is an opportunity to learn and grow, to offer my clients not just products, but true beauty experiences.
